Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Away with Miles (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit awaywithmiles.com, download a resource, subscribe to a newsletter, submit an intake form, schedule a call, purchase a service, or communicate with us.
1. Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, newsletter consent, the Away with Miles page from which you requested a resource or subscribed, standard campaign-attribution fields, scheduling information, communications, transaction information processed by payment providers, and information you choose to provide about travel goals, trip details, approximate points balances, current credit cards, approximate spending patterns, rewards preferences, annual-fee preferences, and desired wallet complexity. Lead-source page URLs are normalized to remove query strings and fragments before storage. We may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page.
Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, full bank or loyalty-account numbers, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, passport images, or other sensitive authentication information.
2. How we collect information
Information may be collected directly through email and this website, through Cloudflare D1 used for lead and consent records, through Beehiiv used for newsletter subscription and delivery, through Google Forms used for intake, through Cal.com used for scheduling, through payment providers used at checkout, and through Cloudflare services used for hosting, security, aggregate web analytics, and first-party conversion measurement. Cal.com may notify us when a booking is created, rescheduled, or cancelled so we can measure service conversion. Those providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; determine service fit; prepare for and provide requested strategy services; schedule calls; process payments through providers; communicate about services; maintain business records; secure and improve the website; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations. We send marketing communications only when permitted, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors that support hosting, security, analytics, forms, email, scheduling, payments, storage, and professional services; when required by law; to protect rights or safety; in connection with a business transaction; or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Cookies, analytics, and browser signals
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate information about website traffic and performance. We also use a first-party conversion tracker that stores a random identifier for the current browser tab, the page path, selected actions such as starting an intake or clicking a booking link, a referring website’s host name, and standard campaign parameters such as source, medium, and campaign. The random identifier is kept in session storage rather than a cookie and expires when the browser tab closes. The conversion tracker does not store names, email addresses, full URLs, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints. Third-party services linked or embedded on the site may apply their own technologies and policies.
Because there is not a consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not currently respond to them.
6. Retention and security
Raw first-party conversion events and anonymous Cal.com booking-status records are retained for up to 180 days. Lead-magnet access, newsletter consent, source-page attribution, and newsletter synchronization records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested resource or newsletter, maintain suppression and consent records, respond to privacy requests, and protect the service. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, recordkeeping, disputes, security, and legal compliance. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain uses or disclosures of personal information. To submit a request, email awaywithmiles@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
8. Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should provide any necessary trip information about a minor.
9. International visitors
The services are intended primarily for U.S.-based customers. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, providers, or practices. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
11. Contact
Email: awaywithmiles@gmail.com. A public mailing address and final legal entity name are intentionally deferred and will be added when established.
